- Table for copying into a spreadsheet
How it works
The time is shared by the proportions in the FAQ. The plan needs between 14 days and two years.
The dates are calendar days; they do not account for weekends or holidays.
These tools support writing; they do not replace the Instructions for Authors or the advice of your co-authors and institution.
Questions
Where do the proportions come from?
They are our suggestion, not a rule: planning and methods 20 percent, results 20, introduction and discussion 30, abstract and references 10, co-author review 15, final check 5.
Can I change the stages?
No. Copy the table and adjust it in your spreadsheet.
