Paste a table from Excel or a CSV file and get a clean table you can copy into Word and the HTML code of it.

Your data does not go to our server. This tool runs in your browser; what you type or open never leaves your device.

This tool needs JavaScript, because it works in your browser and sends nothing. Turn JavaScript on to use it. How it works is explained below.

How it works

Text is escaped, so characters such as < and & appear as typed. No formatting or style is added; format the table in Word with the journal's table style.

These tools support writing; they do not replace the Instructions for Authors or the advice of your co-authors and institution.

Questions

How do I get the table into Word?

Select the preview table below with the mouse, copy it, and paste it into Word: it arrives as a real table.

Which separators work?

Tab (as copied from Excel), semicolon or comma, whichever the first line uses most. Double quotes protect a separator inside a cell.
