Forest plot from a CSV
Paste the estimate and confidence interval of each study or subgroup to draw a forest plot, and download it as SVG.
Your data does not go to our server. This tool runs in your browser; what you type or open never leaves your device.
This tool needs JavaScript, because it works in your browser and sends nothing. Turn JavaScript on to use it. How it works is explained below.
How it works
Each row is a square at the estimate with a line across its confidence interval; the square grows with the weight when one is given. The dashed line marks no effect: 1 for ratios, 0 for differences.
Ratios (odds, risk or hazard ratios) are drawn on a logarithmic axis so that 0.5 and 2 lie at the same distance from 1.

Questions
Is my data uploaded?
No. The CSV is read and drawn in your browser and never leaves your device; only an empty usage count is sent.
Does the tool pool the studies?
No. It draws the estimates you enter; a pooled estimate from your meta-analysis software can be added as its own row.
