How it works
The CARE guideline (item 7) asks for the important dates and times of the episode of care as a table or figure. Avoid exact dates that could identify the patient; relative times such as "day 3" are safer.

Which date formats are read?
Year-month-day (2024-05-17), day.month.year (17.05.2024), day/month/year and year-month. Dates are read day first.
What if a date is a relative time such as "day 3"?
Then the lines are kept in the order you typed them and no time since the first event is calculated.
